Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. grew from a social movement dedicated to providing healthcare to every member of the community, regardless of their economic standing.

Formed in 1970 as the South Philadelphia Health Action, GPHA has spent over four decades offering the most innovative and forward-thinking advances in healthcare to generations of families in the region, and will continue to do so for generations to come.

Family Planning

We are committed to ensuring that all Philadelphians have access to high-quality, comprehensive reproductive health services. Because of this we offer a full range of family planning services at all our sites. Pediatrics Division

Our pediatricians focus on keeping your children healthy—not just treating them when they are sick. GPHA offers full-service primary care for children from infancy to 20 years of age at all of its health centers.   Our pediatric staff provides comprehensive, coordinated and family-centered clinical care, helping families promote good health and prevent childhood diseases.
