The African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) honored Radio One founders Cathy Hughes and Alfred Liggins III at the 40th anniversary gala this past weekend (March 24th), and here is a small clip of what you missed!

HYPETRAK magazine got the opportunity to have the legend himself Quincy Jones sit down with new schooler Kendrick Lamar and discuss music and it’s importance and impact on the culture. Jones is a living legend, from working besides Miles Davis, his contributions to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and walking side by side with the likes of Martin Luther King Jr. He tells Kendrick Lamar he is the future, and Kendrick’s nervousness and humble responses go to show the impact this interview had on him.
