President Obama gives Jay-Z parenting advice

New dad Jay-Z is getting some ace parenting advice from a very distinguished source:President Barack Obama. When the rapper and wife Beyonce met with the president and first lady last month, apparently Obama wanted to know how things were going with 10-month-old daughter Blue Ivy, the president says in an interview with Cleveland’s Z107.9. “I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out [with Blue Ivy],” Obama says. “And not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law.” The Obamas apparently have a great rapport with Jay-Z and Beyonce. “I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years,” Obama says. “They’re good people. They’re down to earth. Beyonce could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. They really are down-to-earth folks. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.”
