City Council President Aide, Sgt., Arrested for DUI: Cops

An aide for the Philadelphia City Council President and a Sergeant-at-arms were arrested after a car accident in the Spring Garden section of the city, according to investigators.

Police say a woman crashed her vehicle into a pole and then a wall on North 13th and Hamilton Streets shortly after 2:30 a.m. Investigators say the woman is an aide to Philadelphia City Council President Darrell L. Clarke. She was not injured.

The woman called a man who police say is a Sergeant-at-arms for the Philadelphia City Council.
