Teen shot dead on West Oak Lane playground

A teenager was shot and killed at a playground of a West Oak Lane recreation center.

It happened around 11:00 Friday night at the Charles M. Finley Rec. Center on Hortter and Lowber streets.

Gunfire broke out and a 17-year-old was struck. The victim was taken to Albert Einstein Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

So far no word what sparked the shooting.
