Update in “Miami Zombie” Story

We’ve learned the identity of the zombied out face eating nitwit who was killed by Miami police on Monday, Rudy Eugene, 31 – savagely chewed on another man’s face and growled when an officer kept telling him to stop.

One witness says, “The guy was, like, tearing him to pieces with his mouth, so I told him, ‘Get off! The guy just kept eating the other guy away, like, ripping his skin.”

Now, who is his victim and what’s his story?

Police have identified Ronald Poppo as the homeless man whose face was eaten off byEugenein a horrific, bloody assault.  Poppo, 65, is in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

If Poppo survives the assault, he may do so without much of his face. Hospital employees have so far not been able to contact any of Poppo’s family, according to CBS.
