Some things can neither be made up or erased from one’s psyche, and this one falls under both categories: A naked man was shot to death by police in Miami yesterday as he was chewing another man’s face off on a highway off-ramp, reports the Miami Herald. A police officer responding to reports of gunfire yesterday afternoon found two men fighting—one of whom was naked and chewing the face of the second man.
The officer ordered the naked man to back away, but he continued his assault, so the officer shot him. Despite being shot, he continued biting the second man’s face, so the officer continued firing—witnesses said six more times—and killed him. The second man was transported to a trauma center and is said to have suffered critical injuries. Police unsurprisingly think cocaine may have been involved. Click for the latest on the case.
