Strong, Smart and Bold Women Honored for Service to Community

Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey is excited to announce the 10th annual Strong, Smart and Bold Founders breakfast to be held March 9th, 2012 at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Join us as we recognize the contributions of three outstanding women who, every day, embody the characteristics our girls need as role models. Each year, Girls Incorporated ® of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey honors women of the community who act with strength of purpose, intelligence and confidence in service to others. At the Tenth Annual Founders’ Breakfast, the organization will once again recognize three women with the presentation of the 2012 Strong, Smart and Bold Award.
As we honor President and CEO of United Way of Southeast PA, Jill Michal, Chairman and CEO of Diversified search, Judith Von Seldenek and On-Air Personality at 100.3 WRNB-FM Radio One, Dyana Williams. Join us as we recognize these women for their continued service, commitment and personifying what it truly means to be a Strong, Smart and Bold Woman.
The Strong, Smart and Bold Award is presented by Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey, which is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit organization that provides education, mentoring and counseling services to girls and their families; primarily those in “at-risk” situations. The name of this award is drawn from the Girls Inc. mission which is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold.
The Tenth Annual Founders’ Strong Smart and Bold Breakfast will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, This event is one of Girls Inc.’s most important annual fundraisers and is a primary source of funding for the group’s exclusive and nationally-researched programs.
