The Council of The City Of Philadelphia honored our own Lady B. today at City Hall for being a hip-hop pioneer and one of the first female radio personalities to introduce the musical genre of hip-hop, for thirty years of dedication to her art and most importantly, her community.

This is great news because on August 21, 2011 there will be a big celebration in Philadelphia for her which will be open to the public featuring a number of celebrities.
