Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff are synonymous with Philadelphia soul music, and their rich body of work makes them deserving of this recognition. While their music and record label Philadelphia International Records literally helped define Philly sonically as the force behind The Sound of Philadelphia (TSOP), Gamble & Huff’s impact was felt worldwide.
